1. 1. Ezekiel 33:13

   The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.

   To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.

   Woe unto him that buildeth his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by wrong; that useth his neighbour's service without wages, and giveth him not for his work;

   Insight When I claim to know God without obedience, I deceive myself.

   I let gain corrupt my justice.

   Insight God's justice is perverted when gain outweighs righteousness.

   Prayer Keep me from justifying wrong for any gain.

8. 8. 2 Peter 2:21

   For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

   Turning from truth wounds my conscience.

   Insight I feel the pain in my conscience when I turn away from the truth.

   Prayer Lord, guard my heart from turning from truth and lead me deeper in love.

9. 9. Jeremiah 7:5

   For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour;

   My integrity fills my worship.

   Insight Genuine worship requires just actions, not empty religious routines.

   Prayer Lord, help me worship with integrity.

10. 10. 1 Timothy 5:25

    Likewise also the good works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid.

    God sees my hidden good.

    Insight Even when no one notices, God sees the good I quietly do.

    Prayer Help me serve faithfully, knowing You see everything.
